Woolwell Table Tennis Club was formed in 1998 at The Woolwell Centre and already boasts upwards of 90 members. With twelve teams we are by far the biggest club in the Plymouth League.
Our young players have won Devon titles at Girls U-18, Boys U-16, U-13 (three times), Girls U-13 (four times), Boys U-11 (five times) and Girls U-11 (three times). We have ten current members of the Devon Junior Teams. Club teams have won the Devon Junior Inter-Club Championships and the Devon/Cornwall section of the National Junior League twice. The achievements of our new members from the former China Fleet Club are far too numerous to mention!!
New members from complete beginners to experts are always extremely welcome. Although the majority of our members are juniors we are particularly keen to recruit more adult members (as long as you can cope with being beaten by "babes-in-arms"!!).
